Prince Harry ‘Asked’ The Queen Permission To Marry Meghan Markle

It seems like wedding bells are ringing for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Harry has yet to actually pop the question to Meghan, but if the rumors are true it’s only a matter of time before he does.

Reportedly, the Prince has already consulted with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

According to a close source, Prince Harry has asked the Queen permission to wed Meghan, and the Queen has given her royal blessing.

The source said:

“The way it’s going, the engagement will probably happen this year.

“Harry has got approval from the Queen to propose to Meghan, he’s already had those conversations with Her Majesty. An engagement is imminent.”

The couple has been dating since last summer, but it looks like the pair is quite in love. So, this news isn’t exactly surprising.

Reportedly, Meghan is set to move into Harry’s Kensington Palace apartment too.

Not only that but in March, US Weekly reported that the couple would be engaged by the end of the summer.

The Queen’s approval of their union seems to be in line with that timeline.

A spokesperson for Westminster Abbey has even confirmed that neither Meghan’s previous divorce nor her Jewish faith would hinder plans for her and Harry’s wedding in the historic church.

So, it might be time to make those Royal Wedding plans.

Do you think Meghan and Harry will be engaged by the end of the summer?
